Ports of Los Angeles & Long Beach Container Excess Dwell Fee - UPDATE
As a follow up to our previous Customer Advisories regarding the Ports of Los Angeles and Long
Beach. The Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach announced today that consideration of
the “Container Excess Dwell Fee” would be held off another week, until January 21st, 2022.

EC4: Madrid Bridge 016E/W as of 13th January
As per Customer Advisory dated January 10, 2022, MV Madrid Bridge, serving in our
East Coast 4 (EC4) Service, suffered container collapse in the North Atlantic Ocean
during transit to her next port of call in New York, USA.
Based on initial investigations, it is estimated that approximately 60 units were
overboard, and 80 units were damaged. The numbers may be updated after further
investigations.
The vessel is currently proceeding towards the East Coast of the United States and, if
all goes well, will be calling in Charleston, for a detailed assessment of the vessel
condition and to discharge the affected containers.

AL5: MOL Emissary 044W as of 11th January
Further to our Customer Advisory dated January 5, 2021, MOL Emissary has successfully
discharged all cargo destined for Los Angeles and has shifted back to the lay-by berth to
continue with her repairs.
The vessel is expected to complete the necessary repairs by the end of January before
departing Los Angeles to continue her voyage, without guarantee and subject to change.

EC5: MOL Charisma 217E as of 7th January
Further to our Customer Advisory dated December 28, 2021, MOL Charisma is currently in Singapore for inspection and necessary repairs, after experiencing engine issue.
Based on initial vessel assessment, the repairs may take more time and further delays are expected. It is to note that the vessel’s schedule will be further rescheduled.

Further to our Customer Advisory dated December 31, 2021, MOL Emissary is in Los
Angeles for inspection and necessary repairs, after experiencing rudder issue.
The vessel is currently expected to berth at Yusen Container Terminal (YTI) in Los
Angeles for cargo discharging operations on or around January 6, 2022, subject to
change. Subsequently, the vessel is to proceed for necessary repairs before departing
Los Angeles and continue with her voyage.

AL5: MOL Emissary 044W as of 31st December
Further to our Customer Advisory dated December 23, 2021, MOL Emissary has safely arrived lay-by berth for further inspection and necessary repairs.
We are currently waiting for the vessel owner's assessment of the repair requirements, preparation and plan and more information will be provided later as it becomes available.
Cargo discharging plan is not available yet as it is dependent on the repair plan.
All cargoes including reefer units onboard are working and are being monitored regularly.
